TreTrip

A travel website designed from start to finish across multiple service types, booking journeys and responsive experiences.

THE STARTING POINT

The business offered far more than “trips,” so the information architecture had to do real work.

TreTrip covered organized trips, pilgrimage programs, accommodations, events, shipping and other services. I went in knowing the visual design could not solve that breadth on its own. My first job was to turn the offer into a hierarchy people could understand quickly, then work out how inspirational travel content and more task-focused service and booking journeys could coexist without making the site feel fragmented.

THE APPROACH

I designed the journey from discovery all the way into service details and booking.

I owned the project from the homepage through service structure, internal pages, program-detail experiences and booking flows across desktop and mobile. I used richer imagery and interaction where travel needed to feel exciting, but kept the underlying navigation calm. One of the more distinctive ideas was an interactive program map that lets users explore destinations spatially rather than reading another long list.

THE RESULT

A broad travel business became one coherent, navigable website.

The final experience gives very different services a shared visual language without pretending they are the same journey. TreTrip strengthened my instinct to use visual richness selectively: emotion can pull people into a travel site, but structure is what lets them confidently choose what to do next.
